  1. This is a great puzzle for any child interested in geography. Teaches many topics including continents, oceans, capitals, flags, memory, some fine manual dexterity and problem solving. Great design to have Europe on a separate piece to include more countries. Obviously cannot include every country due to space and the tiny island countries; the included ones are shaped like the actual country. The slots for the flags are placed where the actual capitals are located, which I appreciate more than my 3.5 year old. He needed help to put on the flag stickers, and help with some of the smaller African countries. There were some frustrations in the beginning especially with the smaller inner countries that can shift around, but by the 3rd day he could complete the entire puzzle by himself. High replay value, he`s been playing with it daily for the past 2 weeks. Foam pieces are durable and puzzle should withstand the handlings from a child. Recommend to include a storage container since the smaller countries can be misplaced and lost if not mindful. Keep away from children under 3, they might accidentally swallow the smaller pieces. There is a minor foam smell in the beginning, but quickly fades away. Makes me laugh everytime he pronounces places like Tajikistan or Ulaanbaatar and that Myanmar used to be Burma (told him once) when he is putting it on the board.

  2. My son loves maps, flags, information about different places, etc. He loved this as a birthday gift, and spent 2 hours placing flags, talking to us about their capitals, and just overall enjoying this. I recommend doing the puzzle and flags on a table, as the pieces will easily push through when placing the flags otherwise. He really likes this puzzle.

  3. This is a very easy way in which kids get to know about geography. I bougth almost five to give to my sister (she is a primary school professor in Colombia). I know her kids in here class will be very well instructed… Learning while playing

  4. Really liked it so much. My 6 year old loved it too. She is enjoying to place the puzzles of countries with it`s flag and states stickers. A fun way to learn about countries of the world. We play and learn together as a family using Mapology.

  5. Received mine today. The pieces are all here, in good condition, and I am putting it together and looking forward to playing with my 5 year old son who loves flags. I just want to note that my set came with yellow foam pieces for the ocean instead of blue, despite even the pictures on this set box showing blue foam ocean pieces. What gives? The yellow is kind of bright and glaring, taking away from the puzzle appearance of a real earth map and I am pretty disappointed on this point, especially since I don`t understand why it is this way. Is anyone else`s set yellow? Anyway, forewarned. Otherwise fine, but you may get a neon yellow Earth instead of a blue one for inexplicable reasons, regardless of images on the box. Are they all yellow sets inside? I don`t get it.
